Design Philosophy
I practice standards-based, semantic, structural design. I use XHTML and CSS primarily to create my sites. This means that websites designed by Orange Jacket Web Design LLC have the following benefits:
- sites are backwards and forwards compatible, meaning that they will work on all modern browsers, be at least functional in all older browsers, and should work on all future browsers decreasing the need for site redesigns every time a new version of your favorite browser comes out.
- Sites will work on portable devices like PDA's and Iphones.
- Sites are easy to maintain and update, which saves the client money.
- Sites can be built quickly (less than one month), which saves the client money.
- Sites are lower on bandwidth, which saves the client money and decreases load times.
